Kukus Nest is a restaurant & bar-lounge situated in Goodmayes, Essex. It is spread over two floors with the restaurant on the ground and the bar-lounge on the first.

We provided a full design service on this project working on interiors, graphics, branding, menu and front of house. The two large aquarium tanks in the restaurant floor are home to approximately 40 Coi-Carp fish that seem to glide beneath the diners.

The first floor has a good mix of materials, natural elements such as silver birch trees give the space a warmth that makes you feel welcome. Reclaimed timber has been used to the build the bar and decorative frames, furniture has been chosen to offer varied levels of seating with multiple configurations, the first floor intends to provide an interesting environment throughout the day.
